Occupation: Retired Engineer
Comments:

After OHS, I graduated from GMU and started working at IBM in Manassas designing and building SONAR and for all U.S. submarines and recently Command and Control systems for some international subs. My most interesting business trips were to: Newport RI, Athens, Rio de Janeiro, Halifax, and the Bahamas. Almost all my business trips were near the ocean since submarines like water. I always took some time off at the end of the trip to enjoy the location. Submarines are packed full of equipment and electronics which I find interesting; however, it was nice to surface, get back to port, and open the hatch and see the sun again! I was only at sea during short sea trials. Most of my work was in an office and laboratory using simulators to test our equipment and software. I retired after 42 years.

Some of my hobbies are Sailing, Flying RC, Astrophotography, and Hiking.
