Obituary for Janice Kay Shipe

JANICE KAY SHIPE, age 63 passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Trinity Mission of Charlottesville in Charlottesville, VA.

She was born on June 7, 1952 in Evanston, Illinois to the late Lester Floyd and Ruth Margaret (Sheppard) Shipe. Janice was raised in Manassas and was a 1970 Osbourn Senior High School graduate.

Janice was preceded in death by her sister Betty Jean Ferguson in 2014. Survivors include three sisters: Barbara Ann Devolites of Charles Town, WV, Leslie Sue Delsignore (William) of Amissville, VA and Sandra Lynn Leeds (Richard) of Vienna, VA; one brother: Floyd Thomas Shipe (Laura) of Killen, AL; brother-in-law: Steven Ferguson of Summit Point, WV; eight nieces and nephews; and many friends in Charlottesville, VA.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Pierce Funeral Home in Manassas, VA. Graveside Services will follow at 12:00 Noon at Quantico National Cemetery with Rev. Sean Devolites officiating.
